New Event: Urban Health Council Workshop on ‘Location, Lived Experience, and Communities’

29th September 2021

Please join us on Weds 29th September for a new workshop.

When we determine the well-being of a community, we have to look at the experience and data from both the top-down and bottom-up, even when dealing with environmental data. This is because there are many reasons that would allow one person to have a much different health profile than another even if they breathe the same air on the same street doing similar commutes. We overcome obstacles like this by building community sovereignty into the framing of current health.

This workshop will guide the strategies and methods that support active work in making sure community sovereignty is built into health solutions from the start.
