Sistah Space

Founded in November 2015, Sistah Space is a community-based non-profit initiative created to bridge the gap in domestic abuse services for African heritage women and girls.

Sistah Space combines the specific needs of African heritage families with expertise in domestic abuse services and provide a safe space for anyone who is concerned about domestic abuse.

From their physical spaces they provide advice and support as well as practical help; such as by providing hygiene products such as sanitary pads, panties, bras, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps and other essential items (much of which have been donated by the local community).
