Reading Club: Multi-Ethnic Working Class Women’s Health X Climate Crisis

Tuesday 12th September

It is now common understanding that the climate crisis will not be affecting people equally, but little attention is given to understanding the pathways that fuel this inequity or clear strategies to rectify them.

In this brief report, Standing Up for the Multi-Ethnic Working Class Women’s Health in the Climate Crisis Conversation, we identified a UK demographic that is being put at most risk of poor health outcomes due to the ongoing climate crisis, multi-ethnic working class women.

In this reading club, we will discuss as a group the data analysis on this intersectional demographic and the suggested action points for improving their relationship with their social, economic, and urban infrastructure.
