Geographies of Health Inequities

Centric Lab is delighted to collaborate with Kavian Kulasabanathan, who is a physician focused on state violence as a determinant of poor health.

Please join us as we discuss how Centric Lab's Biological Inequity Index can be used by GP's to create solidarity pathways with communities advocating for health justice.

Centric Lab's Biological Inequity Index is a geospatial data tool that can help us visualise how racist and classists policies create areas of disportionate stress, which in turn put people at risk of poor health outcomes. This data visualisation can contribute to existing liberatory urban imagineries.

For this hour we will be covering the following

  • What are liberatory urban imaginaries

  • How the Biological Inequity Index can be used by GP's and be part of liberatory urban imaginaries

  • How we can create micro public health programs to contribute to community health justice.
